Are you an entrepreneur running your own business?

Or, maybe you have a position with responsibilities to an organization or a team?

Are you a coach, a mentor, or do you manage people perhaps?

Maybe you’re a consultant working on all kinds of variable problems, or with different organizations?

If you are any of the above, or some variation, chances are you struggle with many challenges each day.

And, If you’re like most you may feel alone in that struggle.

It can be hard to honestly reflect on your fears and obstacles with the people you serve or love.

Even though those are the people who you should confide in, it’s not unusual to protect or hide what you’re dealing with, after all, you want to present yourself as being on it, prepared, ready to meet the challenges of life head-on.

No cracks can be seen!

But you know that’s not how you always feel inside.

And if you’re like a lot of people you are likely trying to create change or live a better life, but you just don’t know where to start or how to progress. You’re doing great work, but you’re not doing great yourself?

Everyone has those moments of imposter syndrome, the moments when you feel out of your league or over your head.

Maybe you feel as though just having someone to reflect with about your ideas would be just the thing you need?

Or someone who can provide an external perspective who won’t judge you, but can give you some insight or even accountability?

Someone who can provide the building blocks to make real change and real progress in your world.

The LYM Life Lab is about real mentorship.

It’s about you learning to make better decisions, creating your own change, living a life of fulfillment and joy through connecting, realizing, and reflecting with a mentor and within a like-minded community.

It’s not about living the “Perfect Life”, it’s about living a better life. One you design, craft, explore, and experience within a safe place of objective perspective and honesty, but NO judgment.

What qualifies me to be helping you?

The short story is, I’ve been right where you are, I’ve been an employee, solopreneur, entrepreneur, manager, coach, leader, teacher, mentor, and I’m on my third marriage!

I’ve made my share of mistakes, and I’ve been right where you are, deep in the weeds, and not taking time for myself and my own health, wellbeing, and growth. If you want to know more, just click here and read a little more about what I’ve been up to until now.

Bottom line is that I’ve traveled a lot of miles and learned a lot about what not to do, but in the journey, I’ve come to realize how to do it better, so I can be my best self, and I want to share it with you.

This isn’t a program for everyone, but if you want to really craft your life, I’m here to be your guide on this journey, and I can’t wait to be there with you to support your growth.

The LYM Life Lab – What You’ll Experience

How You Will Change

To Get Started – What’s Involved

First of all, this is not a program for everyone. This is a program for people who want to craft their lives, want powerful tools to make this happen, and the insight of an external party to provide perspective and a place to reflect.

Accountability for what you want will be a part of this process, for without it, time can pass and no change will occur.

I recognize that not everyone wants or needs the same amount of direct support or direction, you might like to self-explore with occasional touchpoints, or you might want greater contact with me so you can discuss your thoughts and issues more deeply.

So I’ve designed this program with three levels for just that reason. Each one provides a little more one-to-one connection and each one demands a little more investment on your part.

“The LYM Life Lab has been an incredible experience for me. The lab is an eclectic group of high performing people and under Scott’s leadership it has been nothing short of a life changing experience. We have worked on not only creating intention within our lives but within the group there is such a vast array of experiences that help guide our weekly discussions.

I would recommend the LYM Lab to any individual who wants to create a life worth living and who wants to drive the bus on their decisions and on the outcome of the life. For me personally, I have found our weekly discussions incredibly valuable in creating a work-life balance and intentionality in my career decision making. For this, I’m very grateful for the LYM Lab and the members of my cohort.”  Paul Valukas, Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wisconsin Badgers Hockey

The Foundation of the Program – The Community

First, Everyone in the program will be able to meet together once a week for up to an hour on the Zoom platform. These “team” sessions will serve many purposes and no one meeting will be the same, and all meetings will be recorded and shared with the group.

Second, You’ll have a personal performance project every month – something you need to explore that will challenge you to better understand yourself, or clarify your path. And we’ll work through these projects together as a group, gaining insight into what makes you thrive.

Lastly, there will be a series of tutorials on all kinds of skills, strategies, tools, and techniques for crafting your best life. These may be stand-alone sessions to watch and digest, or they may be part of your personal performance projects. They will be available on the program education platform and you’ll have access to them 24/7.

We will also remain in contact as a group regularly using the application Marco Polo so we stay current on what everyone is getting up to!

“LYM Life Lab came into my life at the perfect time. Working in elite sport for 15+ years, PhD under my belt, long list of top athletes that had the honor of supporting, an incredible family unit etc., but I was burnt out beyond what felt like repair. Yet, I was still striving for something that I couldn’t quite define.

Being self-motivated I thought I could figure things out on my own. I tried counselors, mentors and countless books and podcasts about success, greatness, purpose, goals, leadership etc. but none of these pathways quite understood the elite sport practitioner world and mind.

Scott has matchless insights into elite sport and psyche of practitioners in this world. His ability to facilitate growth, discovering purpose, and overcome fears is a true gift. I am grateful he has been able to use this gift to guide me to live my best life.” Dana Lis, Elite Sports Dietician and Consultant to the Golden State Warriors

One-on-One Coaching and Support

There are three levels of One-on-One support, you decide what you need. Once you decide, you’ll need to fill out and submit the application form for review.

Why is there an application form you might ask?

Because this program is not designed for everyone. It’s designed for people who WANT to make a change and WANT to craft their life, and taking the time to answer a few key questions and reflecting on why you want to do this is an important first step.

Level 1 – Base Camp

The first level of personalization is “Base Camp” an ode to the mighty journey of mountain climbing which is inevitably a metaphor for life.

In Base Camp, you have all the group activities plus access to a 30 minute 1-1 meeting with me at the very beginning of the program, and again at the six-month point.

This is so we can set some intentions together, and get clear on what you want to do, and what might be holding you back, and create some clarity on your overall direction.

You can always upgrade any time you wish, just let me know and you can move to the next level.

The Approach

The next level of the program is something I’m calling “The Approach”. In mountain climbing lingo, this is the move towards the summit, it’s preparing you for reaching the highest level and challenging you to be committed to even more growth.

I wanted to provide a space where you might feel a greater level of accountability, and commitment to your own change, and an opportunity to see what you can truly accomplish when you focus on yourself.

In this program, we’ll meet together once right at the start for an hour, and then at the beginning of each quarter for 30 minutes to get clear on your projects, and on your planning and execution. The meeting at the beginning of the third quarter will be an hour to give us more time to dial down on the second half. More touchpoints, more opportunities to clear the air, and get focused on crafting the life you want.

The Summit

The Summit is a special place, just like the mountain climbing metaphor defines. I actually only plan to take five to six people into this space. I don’t want you at this level unless you are really committed and want real accountability.

If you’re ready to make real change and you want a deeper connection to your plan and process, then this is the space for you.

At this level, we’ll meet as a tight “Summit” group once a month, over and above the “Team” meetings, for an hour, and we’ll go deep together on what you perceive you are being challenged with, and how you can overcome those challenges and perceptions.

We will meet every month for 30 minutes to make sure you are dialed and on task, and then we’ll do a quarterly one-hour meeting to review and reset after every 90 days. We’ll leave no stone unturned on your growth.

How to Enroll?

If you want to be a part of this amazing team and individual experience where you learn to explore yourself, learn from others, feel supported, guided, and heard, then your next step is to fill in the application form. Once it’s been received, it will be read by me, and if you seem suitable and ready for this program, you’ll receive an offer to register, and at that point, you can decide what level of personal performance you really want.

“LYM Life Lab is a safe space with an amazing group of people. This program has helped me explore my depths as a person and a professional and grab the steering wheel of my life. Each step of the program has built off the last with clear progression. Scott has a gift for connecting people and asking the right questions to facilitate thought, appropriate challenge, and growth. I look forward to our meetings every week!  Justin Hyland, Strength and Conditioning Coach – Toronto Marlies
